DIA is a global, multidisciplinary association of nearly 18,000 professionals involved in the discovery, development, and life cycle management of safe and effective medical products.

DIA provides professionals at all levels and across all disciplines access to timely and authoritative information to advance careers, skills, and innovation in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device fields.

DIA is a neutral forum for facilitating knowledge exchange and collaboration through services such as:

  • Education and training in regulatory affairs, clinical data management, medical product development, pharmacovigilance, and other continuing education topics
  • Meetings, conferences, webinars, online learning, and other events to foster knowledge exchange, collaboration, and networking 
  • Volunteer leadership opportunities 
  • Publications and thought leadership resources to learn global solutions to industry-wide issues and challenges
DIA is a financially independent nonprofit funded by meeting and membership fees. The voluntary efforts of DIA members and its thought leaders allow DIA to provide quality programs, publications, and knowledge resources to regulatory agencies, academia, industry professionals, and patient advocates.
