DIA awards recognize outstanding volunteers for their leadership and support of DIA’s mission and vision to advance the discovery, development, and life cycle management of safe and effective medical products.

DIA President’s Award for Outstanding Achievement in World Health

This award recognizes the significant, innovative contributions of an individual, group of individuals, or organization to the improvement of global health.

DIA Excellence in Volunteer Leadership Award

This award recognizes the dedicated, extensive, and outstanding voluntary service of an individual who has served DIA for 10 years or more. Ideal nominees are DIA volunteer leaders whose service has had a lasting positive impact on DIA and its members.

DIA Founders’ Service Award

This is DIA’s highest level of recognition and appreciation for volunteerism. This award honors individuals who have contributed to the advancement of DIA’s mission, vision, and values and fostered its growth and development through dedicated and sustained service.

DIA Outstanding Service Award

This award recognizes individuals who have contributed to the DIA mission and vision through their consistent volunteer contributions within the past five years.

DIA Community Award

This award recognizes a DIA community that has been instrumental in advancing DIA’s mission, vision, and values and/or has increased an individual or group’s professional development and global networking opportunities. Community nominations should exemplify volunteerism at DIA and reflect leadership of and support for the association.
